The current war crisis in Ukraine and the massive influx of refugees to the countries of the European Union, especially Poland, poses numerous challenges for the educational environment. Due to the unprecedented nature of these circumstances, teachers lack the knowledge, tools and practice to deal with the ongoing situation. In response to a request from the teaching community, we invite all interested parties to a webinar entitled:
“War and displacement in a neighbouring country – what does it mean in my teaching work?”<\/strong> (WEB81)
Date: 16 March, 15.30-17.00<\/strong>
The first part of the webinar (approx. 45 minutes) will take the form of a lecture in English given by two German experts, Verena Plutzar and Elisabeth Freithofer. The lecture will be followed by a Q&A session, which will be translated into Polish.
Participants will receive practical tips on how to deal with a child in the context of forced migration.
The training is aimed at school principals, educators and teachers.
